HONORING FAMILY, EDUCATION & COMMUNITY THROUGH SERVICE & MENTORSHIP
Although Three King’s Day was officially on Wednesday, 01/06/2021, on January 9th, 2021, the NLPOA Central Florida members, Walmart, and several OCSO and OPD members nicely partnered-up together to connect with our Orlando families-in-need by providing toys to many children and offering a bag of food to all families allowing them to have a meal (on us) together! Due to COVID concerns, we were able to interact and celebrate with our families by hosting a drive-thru event allowing us to safely comply with CDC guidelines. Even with the proper social distancing pre-cautions in place, we were still able to have fun stuff for the families to see and enjoy while driving towards the front on the line to receive their gifts. We want to thank the OPD Mounted and Motors Unit for wonderfully displaying what their special unit is all about. Thank you to the OCSO Swat team for showing off their BearCat vehicle. We also want to thank OPD leaders, OPD CSO’s, City of Orlando Commissioner Robert F. Stuart, Orange County Commissioner Mayra Uribe and OCSO Sheriff John Mina for their support, assistance and their presence at the event. It was definitely a joyous and blessed day!
